About the role
Join us as a Deputy Nursery Manager at The Edgware Gan, where you'll play a key role in providing exceptional childcare while supporting the daily operations of the nursery. As second-in-command, you'll work closely with the Nursery Manager, leading the team and creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children to thrive.
What You'll Do
- Build meaningful relationships with parents and carers.
- Oversee planning and activities in line with the EYFS framework.
- Support and mentor the nursery team, encouraging professional growth.
- Conduct daily risk assessments to maintain a safe environment.
- Ensure compliance with safeguarding practices and statutory requirements.
- Handle administrative tasks, including registers, rotas, and child records.
What We're Looking For
- Qualifications:
- Level 3 (or higher) in Early Years. Experience:
- Three years of experience in childcare, with strong leadership skills. Knowledge:
- Solid understanding of EYFS and Ofsted guidelines. Skills
- Excellent communication, organisation, and a passion for making a difference.
